"I Have a Picture of My Grandmother..."

Mary Holder is the principal of Images Revived. A lifelong photographer, Ms. Holder holds a Master's Degree in Interdisciplinary Computer Science from Mills College where her thesis work, industry internships (IBM Almaden Research Center, Apple Computer Advanced Technology Group), and subsequent consulting projects were in computer graphics. She is an Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop CS3.

Prior to founding Images Revived, Ms. Holder restored damaged photos for her family and later for Operation Photo Rescue, a volunteer group helping Hurricane Katrina victims. In photo and document restoration and retouching Ms. Holder is very happy to have found an endeavor that offers exactly the right combination of technology, art, and service to others.

Ms. Holder conceived of Images Revived as a specialty restoration studio providing unmatched personal service and careful attention to the needs of the client. The most common reactions to her work are “Wow! I didn’t know you could do that!” and “I have a picture of my grandmother…” Images Revived will be more than happy to help you with your treasures in that box in the closet or with your organization’s old photos and documents.

In her free time, Ms. Holder makes photographs, collects antique maps of Yorkshire, travels, and volunteers in her community.
